Morten Lund is a Danish jazz drummer best known as co-leader, alongside Italian pianist Stefano Bollani and Danish bassist Jesper Bodilsen, of a long-running trio that recorded the 2004 album Mi Ritorni In Mente and the 2014 album Joy in Spite of Everything, the latter expanded to a quintet with saxophonist Mark Turner and guitarist Bill Frisell. Lund has also been a member of Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu's Devil Quartet.
Lund's playing is closely identified with the lyrical, chamber-jazz sensibility of the Bollani/Bodilsen/Lund trio, one of the more distinctive working groups to emerge from the Nordic and Italian jazz scenes' overlap in the 2000s.
