Miho Song (송미호) is a South Korean double bassist, composer and teacher, and the owner of the Seoul-area record company Sori-e Naite Music Company (소리의 나이테 음악회사). She co-leads the piano and bass album Identical Mind (2014; reissued on vinyl in 2020) with the pianist Giljoo Lee (이길주), leads the quintet Quintuplet, plays bass in the vocal-led trio O:neul (오늘), and makes nature-minded songs with the vocalist and pianist Kang Yun-mi (강윤미) as the duo Greetings of June (유월의 인사). Her name is printed Miho Song on Apple Music, Genie and the Discogs listing of her best-known album, and Song Mi-ho in several Korean concert notices; both are the same person. Her birth date and birthplace are not published in any source found.

Her training is spread across three schools. A festival biography lists a bachelor's degree in practical music from Dongduk Women's University in Seoul, where she is named as a member of the first cohort, a professional music diploma from the Berklee College of Music, and a master's degree in jazz studies from the Purchase campus of the State University of New York. Genie's 2014 notes say that she and Giljoo Lee studied at Berklee in Boston at the same time from 2005, and Pony Canyon Korea's 2015 notes describe her as a bassist who came home after eight years of study in Boston and New York, which puts her return to Korea in 2013. The notes for Identical Mind say the two were friends from those years who went on to work together on a podcast, in teaching and in publishing, and the publishing was a short textbook, Introduction of Jazz Theory (재즈 이론 입문), which the national research library RISS lists under both their names (Jazz In, Daejeon, 2014, 48 pages).

Identical Mind came out on October 16, 2014 in Pony Canyon Korea's catalogue as a duo album of ten original pieces by the two players, produced by the guitarist Kim Jeong-bae (김정배). The drummer Oh Jong-dae (오종대) joins as a guest on six tracks, including the title piece "Starlight", three tracks are piano and bass duets, and the closing "Epilogue" is a piano solo that reprises the opening "Identical Mind". Genie adds that the piece "If You Didn't Come" had been the signature tune of Giljoo Lee's podcast. In June 2020 the album was pressed on vinyl by the label OWL Music (catalogue number SNMV0001, distributed by Sori-e Naite Music Company), with cover art credited to Tracy Lam of Hong Kong and the cover design to Miho Song. The sales copy for that reissue calls her the first woman jazz bassist in Korea, a claim that no other source found repeats. The same year a vinyl compilation of Korean jazz, Digging Play:te Vol. 2 - Jazz (Panic Button), picked her track "You Know My Place", a waltz from the album, as one of its eight selections.

In March 2015 two more albums on which she is named came out within two weeks. Quintuplet (March 3, 2015, Pony Canyon Korea) is the first album of the quintet she leads, which was formed in early 2014 by the trumpeter Kim Ye-jung (김예중), the vibraphonist Im Min-su (임민수), the guitarist Park Seon-yeong (박선영), the drummer Gwak Ji-ung (곽지웅) and herself. The notes call all twelve pieces originals by the five members and name blues, bossa nova, Latin, funk and swing among the styles, and Bugs files three of them, "Monday Island", "Deep Grief" and "You Know My Place", under her name. 주머니 속의 꿈 (Pocket Dream, March 16, 2015) is the first album of the contemporary jazz band Glass Bead Game (유리알 유희), released through Soundpub; her own biographies and Genie list the band and its album among her work, but the pages found do not itemise its lineup, so her exact part in it is not documented here.

From 2015 she is the bassist of O:neul, a trio with the vocalist Park Raon (박라온) and the guitarist Ahn Kang-ho (안강호). Genie, Melon and Bugs describe it as a warm, acoustic jazz trio that listens closely to itself. It released "너와 나의 사랑 이야기" in October 2015, "Fly Again" in May 2016 and "Monday Island" in July 2016, the album Star on April 3, 2018, "The Christmas Song" in December 2020 and "바람이 부네요" in September 2021. A blog review dated December 12, 2016 describes a Cafe Tongin concert by the Song Miho Trio with Yoo Seung-ho (유승호) on piano and accordion and Choi Yo-seop (최요셉) on drums, which opened with traditional jazz and included a piece from Identical Mind, and on May 27, 2017 O:neul played the same Seoul room; the civic group People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy published the announcement and a biography of each member.

Since 2022 she has also recorded as Greetings of June (유월의 인사), a duo with Kang Yun-mi, who sings and plays piano; Kang Yun-mi also sang in the vocal quartet Carina Nebula from 2022 to 2024. Their first album, 소만 (小滿) (Soman, June 2022), is nine songs about nature with words and music written together. Its notes say the opening pair of tracks include field recordings the two made at dawn in the Saryeoni forest on Jeju, that "Sanctuary Forest" began as a piece Song wrote after a winter visit there, and that "Sweet Dream" grew out of a volunteer trip carrying a rescued dog. Mixing and mastering were done by David Darlington at Bass Hit Recording in New York, and the label's note says it was made as part of an eco-friendly CD project. Three singles followed in 2024, "Rainbow Heart" (August 30), "긴 여행" (November 1) and "시우리 왈츠" (December 11, with the guitarist Park Sang-yeon and the accordionist Dave You), and the second album, 여행 (Journeys, June 1, 2026), collects nine tracks including all three, with nature sounds gathered at the Inje birch forest, Sehwa beach on Jeju and a forest in Yangpyeong worked into three of them. Kang plays piano and sings, Song plays upright bass and sings, and the credits give the lyrics to Song and the composing to Kang. The duo's own biography calls its approach "ecological romanticism".

She was the bassist of Chae-On (彩溫), a four-woman group put together as a 2021 Jarasum Beyond showcase at the Jarasum Jazz Festival, with the saxophonist Yoosun Nam (남유선), the drummer and composer Soojin Suh (서수진) and the pianist Oh Eun-hye (오은혜). The listing for a Chae-On concert on April 8, 2022 at Musinsa Garage in Seoul's Mapo district names the same four. Other recent dates found include a Suwon SK Artium concert titled Chopin in New York (August 5, 2022), the Anseong Matchum Art Hall lecture concert "재즈 한 모금" (A Sip of Jazz) with the singer Shin Yeon-a, Dave You on accordion and the guitarist Park Yun-woo on December 28, 2022, the Jirisan Jazz Festival in Gurye on August 30 and 31, 2024, and a Dongdaemun Cultural Foundation series in April 2026 listing her with Dave You and Park Yun-woo. Her concert biographies, such as one posted by the Changnyeong county office in 2024, add opening performances for the Busan International Film Festival and the Chungmuro International Film Festival.

She teaches as well. Her 2017 biography lists lectureships at the graduate school of Dongguk University, Baekseok University of the Arts, the Hanyang University conservatory and Seoul Digital University, and Seoul Digital University's faculty page lists her as a professor in the practical music department teaching bass technique. The same biography says she hosts the podcast 재즈가 알고싶다 (I Want to Know Jazz). She also produced an album by the singer-songwriter Austen Cloud, according to a festival biography.

The company at the center of much of this work is Sori-e Naite Music Company. Its online shop names her as owner, Naver's person page lists her as its chief executive, and it is the copyright holder of both Greetings of June albums and the distributor named on the 2020 Identical Mind vinyl. Albums by Mijung Lim, Soojung Lee, Esther Jo, Yujin Kim and Woon Jo, all profiled on JazzProfiles.com, carry its name as label or distributor.

She is alive and active as of October 2026. Little else is published: no interview naming her teachers or influences was found, no free photograph exists, and she is not to be confused with the Japanese pianist and composer Miho Hazama or the Korean saxophonist Hachul Song, whose track "Straight Life" appears on the same 2020 compilation as hers. Discogs holds her under two entries, 송미호 (artist 15265614) and the duo credit Giljoo Lee & Miho Song (artist 9708775).

No source found names her teachers or the players she follows, so this section describes only what the releases and their notes say. Identical Mind is a record of lyrical, melody-first originals; its sales copy mentions a European contemporary jazz feeling, with a waltz ("You Know My Place"), a tango-flavored piece ("Song for Aunt") and a swing number ("Walk Along") among the ten tracks, and its notes stress that every piece has a story from the two players' lives. Quintuplet is a horn, vibraphone and guitar quintet that moves between blues, bossa nova, Latin, funk and swing. O:neul and Greetings of June are song-based: the first is a vocal trio of voice, guitar and bass that puts interplay ahead of display, and the second sets her bass and voice against Kang Yun-mi's piano and treats nature, conservation and animal rescue as subjects, with recorded natural sound worked into the albums.
