Giuseppe Pucciarelli is an Italian-born jazz guitarist and composer, based in London since 2017, who leads the Pucciarelli Group. He started on guitar at five, when his father gave him a classical guitar for his birthday, and had classical lessons from the age of ten. His father's love of Italian folk music was his first influence, and the strong melodic sense that runs through his writing traces back to it. Wanting to go further in advanced jazz improvisation and composition, he moved to London in 2017 to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where his tutors included the guitarist John Parricelli. The Jazz Mann's Ian Mann lists his other mentors as Mark Lockhart, Malcolm Edmonstone, Stuart Hall, Martin Hathaway and Scott Stroman. He began playing London's jazz clubs soon after arriving, including PizzaExpress Jazz Club and Hampstead Jazz Club, and teaches music theory, jazz harmony, improvisation and composition.

His first album was recorded in April 2017 in Italy, at Zork Digital Planet in Buccino, with a quartet of Ergio Valente (piano), Aldo Capasso (bass) and Marco Gagliano (drums). It came out under the name Giuseppe Pucciarelli Quartet as Shall We Say It Is Worth. Feel Free To Feel Free (2019) expanded the group to a quintet of recent Guildhall graduates, and Tunes We Like (2020) used an Anglo-Italian lineup. In November 2021 Ubuntu Music announced that it had signed him, and on 11 March 2022 the label released Uplift (UBU0101), which reunited the original Italian quartet and made the band's billing the Pucciarelli Group. Ubuntu also reissued the debut in December 2022 as Shall We Say It Is Worth It. The artist's own site reports more than four million streams for that first album, and cites a rating of 8 out of 10 and the line "we predict a bright future ahead" from Guitarist magazine's review of Uplift. The album was also reviewed in Jazzwise, Jazz Times, Jazz Views and The Jazz Mann. Pucciarelli launched Uplift at PizzaExpress Jazz Club in Dean Street, Soho on 30 April 2022, and played a duo concert of its music with the pianist Sam Leak at Hampstead Jazz Club on 20 May 2022.

Outside his own band he is the guitarist on saxophonist Sam Knight's debut Knight Life (AMP Music & Records, released November 2023), recorded in August 2022 at Zork Digital Planet with Capasso on bass, Gagliano on drums and Seamus Blake as a guest tenor saxophonist. His album Here and Now, credited to the Pucciarelli Group, was released on 28 November 2025. He describes it as an exploration of English folk and rock sounds inside contemporary jazz, drawing on British players such as John Taylor and Kenny Wheeler and on the aesthetic of the ECM label. His Bandcamp page lists the group's location as Bologna.

Pucciarelli is a melody-first guitarist and composer. He has said that he likes the complex harmonies and rhythms of jazz but prefers writing tunes that are memorable and singable, and that for him music goes beyond classifications and names. Reviewing Uplift, Ian Mann heard hints of Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell and John Abercrombie in his sound while noting that he has a voice of his own, and thought the record would especially appeal to listeners who value the relatively simple early Metheny albums on ECM; he also allowed that some would find the music a little bloodless and the Metheny influence too overt.

"Kenny's Time" on Uplift is a homage to the trumpeter and composer Kenny Wheeler, and Here and Now names Wheeler and the pianist John Taylor as reference points. His compositions are typically written with a specific lineup in mind, and he has said he wrote Uplift with the sound of Valente and Gagliano in his head.
